Larry Nassar who was convicted of sexually abusing young gymnasts in his care, got the private jet treatment on Friday as he flew from Michigan to Tucson to begin his federal prison stint.
The shamed doctor boarded the plane at Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport in freezing Michigan temperatures. The ex-Team USA doctor appears to be shackled and surrounded by law enforcement officials as he boarded the jet.
Nassar has begun his 60-year sentence for child pornography crimes in a high-security federal prison in Tucson. He will be in there with about 1,500 other inmates. His release date is scheduled for March 23, 2069.
